1. From Thessaloniki / Northern Greece:

a. Via Egnatia Odos (A2) - Koutselio, Ioannina exit - Charokopi - Petrovouni Potistika - Palaiochori Syrrako - Syrrako with a 42 Km asphalt road through Koutselio exit.

b. Via Egnatia Odos (A2) - Metsovo exit - Anilio - Chaliki Aspropotamou (asphalt) - Katafyto (8Km of good quality gravel road) - Mparos Peak (2000m) - Kalarrytes - Kipina - Prosilio - Syrrako. In 1h 30m from Anilio we arrive in Kalarrytes.

2. From Athens / Southern Greece:

a. Via Ioannina, like case 1a, through National Road Athens - Ioannina (E951) - (10Km before Ioannina turn right to Mpafra) - Mpafra - Koutselio - … - Syrrako.

b. Via Arta (through Arta) - Arta’s Bridge - Gramenitsa - Elatos - Pistiana - Rodavgi - Skoupa - Platanousa - Monolithi - Plaka’s Bridge - Agnanta - Ktistades - Pramanta - Xristoi - Chrousia Bridge - Prosilio - Syrrako. 85Km asphated route.

3. From Trikala (Aspropotamos villages):
From Trikala - Kalampaka road and through the Aspropotamos villages : Kalirroi - Tria Potamia - Katafyto and from this point as in case 1b. Good gravel road (from May to November) - Mparos Peak (2000m) - Kalarrytes - Kipina - Prosilio - Syrrako.

4. From Trikala through Voulgareli, Arta):
From Trikala - Pyli Trikalon - Stournareika - Vathirevma - Mesochora - 8Km gravel - Agia Kyriaki - Skorligga Tunnel - Voulgareli - Katarraktis - Agnanta - Ktistades - Pramanta - Christoi - Chrousia Bridge - Prosilio - Syrrako, in a beautiful route, full of turns and about 4h for nearly 150Km.

The most usual ways are 1a and 2a.
